'Sup dawg... (Where the heck did that subject come from?)

Well, my buddy Adriana has left down and moved back to Santa Barbara. She is probably on the road right now. I know it will be best for her – but I’m a bit blue over it for myself! Adri introduced me to the "Rick James" skits from the Chappelle Show (Spelling?) - which we will have to rent so that you all can see them. I wept when I first saw them - that's how hard I was laughing.

In other news, I was rejected from the blood bank for being low in red blood cells today. WTF? Darn – missed out on another chance to pass out & get slapped. Pity. It was probably a good thing though because I’m beat today – I stay out late with Adri last night chatting away before she left town. Lori & I took her out to dinner, too.

What else – oh yes, regarding the August trip to Las Vegas, someone in my company already booked my ticket, so while I WILL be staying over on a Saturday night, I don’t know if I’ll actually have to work all that day… so I’m thinking that August is probably a bust. However, I will be there again in Mid October, so hopefully, we can plan something for then. Heidi you are so right - I need a dose of the weird BIG TIME right now. I’d say I was feeling “normalish” lately – except that certain aspects of my behavior belie that fact. Anyway, the taint of normality must be removed! And Moose, it would rock if you could make it to Las Vegas. But wait – what was that about cashing out a trip, Rena? I’m confused… as usual.
Anyway, let me know what “all ya’ll” think of October… If it's a go - make sure I don't forget Circia's binder.

Say - have you guys heard of people who play simulation games with miniature soldiers? Like they’ll set up an historical battle and then cut all the “generals” loose to wreak havoc on the other team’s miniature soldiers? Anyway, I just heard about them & that they even have Cons for them. What rock have I been under that I haven’t heard about this? It sounds fun (not quite as fun as gaming, but still…). I thought I’d ask if any of you were familiar with the concept.

And thank you all for your comments on my earlier post. I guess I was a bit cranky when I wrote that because you all made excellent points. I’m just glad that I wasn’t overtly annoyed during the conversation with Big Brother. Props to me! Whatever.
